Executive Bio - Jason Waterman, Founder of Waterman International

Jason has an extensive background in software engineering, distributed software development, and software management. As a software development manager for a Fortune Global 100 company, he has worked with and led international distributed software teams in the U.S., Mexico, Germany, Romania, and India. As a software architect, he has led design & development of software platforms used across a variety of embedded, web, and mobile applications.

Beyond technical software development, Jason has been involved with digital marketing for the motion picture industry. His digital marketing platforms were used in the viral online marketing campaigns for such movies as The Chronicles of Narnia, Ben Stein's Expelled, Rocky Balboa, Polar Express and The Secret Life of Bees. As CTO of FilmEmerge, he developed the leading film production resource directory for the emerging Michigan film industry. Jason has been featured in such publications as Fast Company Magazine and the Wall Street Journal.
